Grey Sweater invites you to an extraordinary one night only collaboration between two of Jamaica’s most celebrated culinary talents: internationally acclaimed chef Andre Fowles — three time Food Network Chopped champion and personal chef to Bruce Springsteen — and Chef Andrew Black, Grey Sweater’s visionary culinary leader and 2023 James Beard Award winner for Best Chef: Southwest.
Born and raised in Jamaica, both chefs bring distinct expressions of their shared heritage to the table. Chef Fowles channels the fire, soul, and vibrancy of modern Caribbean cuisine, while Chef Black is known for transforming global influences into refined, imaginative fine dining experiences. Together, they will craft an eight course modern Caribbean tasting menu that harmonizes their unique styles — a rare meeting of two Jamaican born chefs whose careers have shaped contemporary Caribbean gastronomy on the world stage.
To commemorate this exceptional evening, each guest will receive a signed copy of Chef Fowles’ new cookbook, My Jamaican Table: Vibrant Recipes from a Sun Drenched Island — a keepsake that extends the experience beyond the restaurant.
